23 Best Places to Visit in Ooty – Complete Travel Guide with Itinerary and Budget Breakdown
Something so beautiful about hill stations makes them irresistible. And where South India is concerned, the first name that is mentioned is Ooty. This is located in the Nilgiri Mountains of Tamil Nadu, and is known as the “Queen of Hill Stations.” It has warmed many generations with its foggy mornings, wavy tea gardens, and chug-chug of the famous toy train.

However, that is not the only thing that most traveling guides do not tell you about Ooty, as this is not the destination only to look at picturesque scenes on postcards. App taxi services such as Ola and Uber are not able to work in Ooty because of local union constraints.
